I graduated at The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden in 1969 with a Master of Science degree in applied physics.

My first job was with ASEA in Sweden as a trainee engineer. It brought me to Colombia in 1970 where I studied Spanish and started a small workshop of my own in a slum district of Bogota. There I employed five young people, making clogs (wooden shoes Swedish style).

In 1972 I was back in Sweden and got a job at Volvo in Gothenburg as at test engineer. In 1976 I moved to Linköping and had a position as a thermal design engineer at Stal Laval Apparat AB and later at ASEA Metallurgy. At ASEA I simulated processes of steel works.

Since 1989 I work at SAAB in Linköping as a test methods engineer for flight testing and have made simulations on environment control system of the aircraft JAS 39 Gripen.

In 1994, I took the first semester course of political economy at the Linköping University. Since then, I have been concerned with macro economic issues and how to fight unemployment. Using mathematical models, I have shown circumstances that may be a surprise to some but confirm the beliefs of others
